I don't know where you all live, but here in the North east of the USA, it has been BEAUTIFUL the past couple of days. Perfect spring weather, it's amazing. It has put me in such a good mood, I hope it lasts even when the weather eventually fades away back into what I call dreary March. Because march you want to be nice and warm, but it never is. Oh, no. Half the time it ends up freaking snowing or something. Or, it's just unbearably cold. But, it has been 75 degrees here and I loooove it.
Anyway, as per usual I have broken my promise to update more often and thus am going to do quick updates for you.
Guard is going quite well. I'm in the show and everything, although what I do is very limited because of my knee injury (womp). But, even a little bit of winterguard is better than none, right? Or at least that's what I have been telling myself.
I'm planning on going to prom alone this year. I don't know why this is an update. I just don't want you all to think I'm some weird loser when I post prom pictures. I mean, I am a bit of a loser, but I just feel like I'll have so much more fun going alone and with my friends. Who made the need a date rule anyway? I think we should get rid of that. This is not the 50s. I do not need a boy to take me to a dance. Let's get real.
I applied to ten colleges, so far I have heard back from seven of them and have been accepted to all seven! My first-choice school is the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), second-choice is Virginia Commonwealth (VCU), and after that doesn't matter. But, I have also been accepted to Temple, Ithaca, Montclair State University, and two schools that were super safeties, but should mention anyway, Albright and Lycoming. So, yay for that. I still need to hear from Syracuse, Rowan, and Pratt Institute. Those should be any day now though, so keep your fingers crossed xxx
Have you read The Hunger Games? If not, get on that shizzz. I read the book within one day. Less than half a day. I dissected it and ate it up. It was amazing, I could not put it down. I am ecstatic for the movie to come out, you don't even know.
Well, I believe that's all that is going on in my life. I once again am promising that I will update this more. But, I mean, don't get your hopes up too high. HOWEVER, do leave me messages in my chat box. I check that very often and usually reply to everyone who writes in there, so go for it! It'll make my day(;

To those who do keep up with my blog, I am so sorry that I do not update more. I usually update my tumblr which has much more readers (because tumblr is user friendly, and not everyone has their own website, nah mean?) Anyways, IT'S 2012! YAY! It just needs to fast forward to June so I can freaking graduate. I cannot wait.
Here are some lovely (and not so lovely) updates for all of you:
Remember winterguard? The sport that I love? That's pretty much over for me. I tore my ACL on dec 10th at practice. For those of you who do not know, an ACL tear is one of the worst knee injuries you can do. Complete tears do not heal on their own, and require surgery. It's about a 6-9month recovery period. 6-9months meaning until you can return to full contact sports. Surgery is a necessity as if left untreated I may develop greater knee problems in the future, and may tear my meniscus which is even worse.
on the bright side, I talked to my coach and she is willing to alter my show so that I can still be part of the team. Right now I can walk and everything, and a month after surgery I'll be able to walk again also. Guard uses your hands (it's spinning equipment, duh) and so, I can still do some things. However, my solo has been taken away from me seeing as I cannot dance and do splits for the rest of the season ):
College applications have been sent! I will let you know when I hear of some replies
sadly, I am still doing absolutely horrible in school. I am not a bad student, btw. I am pretty decent. Mostly As, sprinkled Bs. I'm super well-rounded. Right now I am literally failing EVERYTHING. I don't even know why or how. Some of my grades are not right. I know this for a fact. But, it's so stressful and I have so much going on. Fixing them is the last thing on my mind.
Anyway, if you guys would like to know more about my knee injury, feel free to ask! Also, if you've had this surgery or injury, please tell me about it and your recovery time and exactly what it entailed, as it's different for everyone and I want to know as many different stories as possible.
Also, I want to leave you all with a question that is:
How do you feel about drinking and smoking (weed and/or cigarettes)? I was having a debate with someone today and just want some more opinions. And it doesn't matter if you're pro or con btw. I don't judge whatsoever.

I should probably be doing my human anatomy project right now (it's researching a skin disease, mine is eczema. Not so bad as far as skin diseases go). But, this project is a pain in the ass and I'm a lazy motherfuckerrr. I should probably finish it soon since ANTM All Stars is on and it's the season finale. Also, I have tons of other homework, but whateverrrr. I'll update the (few) people who for some ungodly reason still follow this blog and read about my ever-so-exciting life.
Winterguard has started! As predicted there is stupid petty drama. I'll get to some of that in a moment.
I NEED TO FINISH MY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS. I am so stressed beyond REPAIR. It's not even okay. Whoever said senior year was the best and most fun year obviously did not apply to college. There is no way.
I told one of my best friends we aren't friends anymore. Why? She became someone who I don't like. She became this fake, manipulative, two-faced, selfish, self-centered, insecure mess of a person that I cannot stand to be around anymore. I can't pretend to like people like most of the kids in highschool. I'm too honest and real. I'm also too confrontational. So, yeah. We're not friends. Except, she's on guard which makes it a BIT awkward...
My grades suck in school. But, they always do so that's not much of an update now, is it?
I think I'm going to go. I can hear my mom playing ANTM downstairs. It's so tempting.
